Introduction

It is not always easy to plot the course of an individual's life from the bare facts of birth, marriage and death. I have therefore compiled a series of biographies that are linked to the person's family group in the main genealogy pages. This lists, in chronological order, all references where they are mentioned in the source documents that I have located. This includes their own certificates, their family's and census returns. In this way, it is easier to see how they moved from one place to another and changed occupations (or not!).
